An 18th century pub built out of local ironstone painted white consisting of four rooms mainly for dining. There is a cosy oak-beamed lounge and a bar games room. Closed since 2020 applications to build residential dwellings on site were refused. The pub has gladly re-opened after a major refurbishment.
