A food-oriented pub in an old watermill on the River Ver, with a modern motel next door. The ground floor features three separate bar areas where drinks, snacks and meals can be enjoyed. Although the building last operated as a mill in 1916, the waterwheels are encased and can still be viewed inside the building - an impressive sight. Outside there are pleasant gardens alongside the river and a pond populated by geese and ducks, making the pub popular with young families. Dogs are welcome in the garden and the non-carpeted bar areas. Despite being very nearby, the M25 motorway is well screened and surprisingly unintrusive. Although there has recently been no cask ale available, it is planned to serve Sharps Doom Bar (September 2026).
