Friendly and long-established CIU-affiliated social club serving a part of St Albans with few other cask ale options. A warm welcome awaits card-carrying CAMRA members who can use the bar facilities as guests. Other visitors are also welcome (just ring the bell) but will pay the slightly higher non-member prices at the bar. A large function room, complete with a stage, complements a more intimate public bar-style room at the front of the building. Entertainment provisions include a pool table, several dart boards and juke box, while major sporting events are shown on a giant screen. The Royston Club has featured in the Good Beer Guide regularly in recent years and it has been awarded South Herts CAMRA's Club of the Year award on multiple occasions.
