This Grade II listed, 16th century building is very welcoming with low-beamed ceilings and a cosy open fire. The pub consists of two bars with many small rooms adjoining. Accommodation can be found in two stone annexes to the rear. The pub is said to be haunted by a former landlord who met his demise by throwing himself out of a bedroom window.
