Stone-built pub near the village hall consisting of a bar with real fire and small restaurant offering breakfasts, traditional luncheon fayre, and cakes and bakes. To the rear there is a car park, large garden and access to the village hall. Two real ales are available with three during the summer months mostly from Nene Valley Brewery. The pub is named after the Reverend John Shuckburgh, whose cousin George Capron bought Southwick in 1841. The World Conker Championship is held here in October.
